Disabling features in Oracle JDeveloper to improve the performance

Oracle JDeveloper has many features and updates which you may not be used for the current project. So, you can disable those extensions by using the following steps:


  • Goto Tools menu and then click Features.

  • Manage Features and Updates dialog will appear. Uncheck the features that you do not want for current application/project. You may enable it again for other projects. Like I have disabled the below-highlighted features.
