How to hide buttons like Escalate, Suspend, Withdraw from Workflow Notification in Oracle Fusion Cloud?

Given below is an example of workflow notification received for Invoice Account Coding workflow:


In this notification we have buttons like Escalate, Suspend, Withdraw. These are notification actions which can be configured in BPM Worklist. For example, if we want to hide Escalate button we need to follow the below steps:

  • Login to your Oracle Fusion cloud instance. On top right corner click your profile icon and select Setup and Maintenance



  • Click on the Tasks icon on the right-hand side


  • Then click on the Search link:



  • Search for "Manage Task Configuration" and select Manage Task Configurations for Financials:

  • This will open BPM Worklist application

  • Click OK button
  • Search for "FinApInv" it will list all AP Invoices workflows. Select FinApInvoiceAccountCoding 

  • Now go to the Access tab and expand the Actions pane.

  • Click on Edit Task

  • You will see that all actions have now dropdowns.

  • Select the dropdown for Escalate Task Action and uncheck all the options:

  • Click on the save button
  • Enter comments for the changes and click the OK button





  • Click on the Commit Task button and give the comments and Click the OK button.




  • Now when you will receive the notification, it will not have the Escalate button:
