Getting Started with OCI Free Tier
- Search for "oracle cloud free tier" in the search engine and open the first link
- The below page will appear, click on Start for Free to create your account. Also, free services will be listed which come with your Free Tier account. You can also open this link to directly navigate to the account creation screen.
- On the below page fill in all the information:
- Country/Territory
- First Name
- Last Name
- Click on the "I am human" check box and solve the puzzle.
- Once solved, click on the Verify my email button
- An email will be sent to your given email address. Open that email and click the verify email button:
- After clicking on the button, you will be again redirected to the account creation screen in which all your information will be pre-filled.
- Create your password - This will be your login password which will be used to log in to the administrator user. The email that you used to create the account will be your username
- Customer Type - Choose as Individual
- Cloud Account Name - This will be your Tenancy name, so choose it accordingly.
- Choose the Home Region. Then click on the continue button.
- Enter the address details and click continue. Please provide the same address as available in your credit card statement to avoid payment failures.
- Click on Add payment verification method and provide payment details:
- Click on Credit Card
- Enter the Address and Credit Card Information and click on Finish Button
- Once done, Click on the check box to agree to the agreement and click on Start my free tier button
That's all, Great! You have successfully created your free tier account.
